A courageous if controversial voice, Hirsi Ali was born and raised a Muslim in Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and Kenya. A free speech and women’s rights activist, she rejected her faith and sought asylum in the Netherlands, where she became a member of parliament. She is the author of the New York Times bestseller Infidel: My Life and currently lives in the United States.
