Former Minister of Immigration, Minister of Education and Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Dr. Yuli Tamir was trained as a political philosopher, has been a scholar-in-residence at universities across the globe and was a founding member of the Israeli peace movement. She is the recent past president of Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and current president of Beit Berl Teachers’ Training Academic College.
