Yom Hazikaron: Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers and the Victims of Terror

In partnership with Temple Emanu-El, Nevut: Lone Soldier Veterans and the Israeli American Council

Join us to mark Yom HaZikaron 2021 as we open our hearts to the stories behind the some of those lost. Three bereaved families will share personal stories and testimonials, including: 

Nitza Shamah, sister of Yigal Erez z"l and Anat Yahalom, his cousin. Yigal fell in the course of his duty while training in 1973. He was 24 years old.

Eli Haliva, son of Moshe Haliva z"l. Moshe fell in action during the Yom-Kippur War. He was 33 years old.

Michael Solomonov, brother of David Solomonov z"l. David fell in action near the Israel-Lebanon border in 2003. He was 21 years old.
